Project description

The National Theatre in Warsaw is the largest theatre in Europe. It has 10 storeys above ground and four below ground. KMT prepared the design of the steel sub-structures for the hoists, located on the theatre's highest level - the technical platform. The hoists serve the new lighting bridges spanning the entire stage area. The detailed and workshop design of the bridges was also carried out by KMT. The calculations took into account the dynamic behaviour of the whole system and emergency braking under full load.
