Project description
The project concerns the conversion and vertical extension of Building F of the Mazovian Bródno Hospital in Warsaw, including the construction of a mezzanine above the gymnasium and the addition of a new top storey.
KMT's scope of work included the preparation of a technical expert assessment of the existing building structure and the development of a structural design for the planned conversion. The assessment involved analysis of the existing structure, a site inspection, review of archival documentation, and diagnostic testing of reinforced concrete elements, including selective exposure of reinforcement, rebar scanning, and concrete testing. The work also encompassed structural and strength calculations in relation to the planned extension.
